If you want to see a rainbow, you have to learn to like the rain

Kohkuma 7º South means talking about problems in Dioula, the Show deals with the human force that is required to fundamentally change ones life. It deals with our own notions of survival and our internal conflicts.
The performance is set in a kind of refugees camp, which can be at the same time, A place which points us to the future: . People come there voluntarily in order to recreate a new life in a neutral place where nobody knows them. But this new reality, with no rules, can give rise to emotions and behaviors suppressed until then. And the inner violence of human being can come out when nobody expects it.
Thus, new questions appear: can we really escape from our past? Facing the absurdities of history, how to shape and face the future? What are the dreams, hopes and frustrations at that time? How do the others think of us? What energies are needed to go further on and to adapt oneself to this new reality? What internal forces are expended to change one’s life and the one of those around?
