A good conscience is a soft pillow
Lévy Tierema Koama’s passion for dance started at a very young age.
Between 1986 and 1991 he formed various small collectives with which he created thematic ballets and performer in many competitions for young dancers in Ivory Coast.
In 1998 he met Rokia Kone and bacame part of her company Jeune Ballet d’Afrique Noire.
Om 1999 he moved to Burkina Faso and became member of Compagnie Lawazi.
In 2000 Tierema Lévy Koama presented his solo ‘Les enfants de la rue’ during the festival Dialogue de Corps.
In 2001, he win the golden medal during the Francophone Games in Ottawa, Canada Company Lawazi.
In 2002 Lévy created his own company, called company Sombo.
Robert Seyfried of Company DIT from Grenoble was impressed by his work and invited him to Grenoble, where Lévy was part of the creation ‘Transpace’.
In 2004 he worked with Sylvie Pagenaud for the creation ‘Au coin de la rue’
Lévy joined Faso Danse Theatre in 2005 and has been a member of the company since that. He was part of ‘A benguer’ and of ‘Babemba’.
In 2009 he started giving dance courses in the prison for minors in Ouagadougou.
