Sayouba Sigué, also known as Betch,started dancing by imitating the dance on the television. His journey from this imitating has brought him very far and now he is well versed in various dance styles ranging from African variety and traditionnal Hip hop, to modern-jazz to contemporary. 

In 2001, he met Souleymane Porgo who invited him to join Compagnie Téguéré. This was a great break through for Sigué because he discovered with Porgo a completely different style of working and doing research in dance. Due to his hunger for dance, he has been involved in many dance related activities in Ouagadougou.

After being in Compagnie Téguéré’s  ‘Parcours’ and ‘Yengré’, Sigué was invited by Irène Tassembedo to be in  ‘Souffles’ and ‘Carmen’. These experiences, together with tours in Europe and the African content helped him grow artistically. His athletic physique give him great fluidity in movement and a strong stage presence.

Sigué joined Faso Danse Theatre in 2006 and was part of ‘ A benguer’ and ‘Babemba’.
