A good conscience is a soft pillow
The well known multi instrumentalist from Burkina Faso, Tim Winsé, is a virtuose in playing the traditional Samo instrument the ‘lolo’ which is an arched bow. Winsé moved Ouagadougou in 1996 and quickly became part of various bands, such as the famous Benda Band. In the meantime Winsé developed his own vocal and musical studies and created his own style: the wassamana groove, a fusion of Samo rhythmes and Rock sounds
Besides this, Winsé also has a deep passion for musical compositions for performances and has created several works for big dance companies.
2008: Composer and performer in Faso Danse Théâtre’s ‘I Lost My English’ with a tour in India and a performance in Julidans, in Amsterdam and subsitances Lyon.
2006 : Composer and musician in Faso Danse Théâtre’s ‘A Benguer’
2004 : Coming out of ‘Zessa’, the first album of Wassamana, which had international success
2002 : Winsé creates his own band: ‘le Wassamana’
2001 : Composer of ‘Vin Nem’ for Company Kongo Ba Teria
1997 : Winsé joins Compagnie Salia nï Seydou and composes music for the piece ‘Figninto’
