Trained in playing the piano, the acoustic and the electric guitar, Benjamin Collier holds a degree in history before turning to become a sound engineer as well.

He is initiated in Indian music and plays the sitar and has been performing in various formations as a sitarist and guitarist since 1991.  With his various talents, he divides his time by being both a director of sound for live performances, a musician in different groups (Overlow, La Caravane Electro, DaTaz…) and a composer, mainly for contemporary dance (Faso Danse Theatre, Cyril Viallon, Matthieu Hocquemiller).

Collier has been part of Faso Danse Theatre since 2004, both as musician and as director of sound.
